Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has insisted he had no problem being substitute in the latest match, with the player coming on early in the second half.

Bayern Munich beat Heidenheim 4-2 at home in the Bundesliga on Saturday, taking their tally to 33 points from 13 games.

After the game, the midfielder who score two goals himself reveal that he was happy to score at home again and confirm that he had no problem being a substitute because he had gotten the rest he need.

“It depends on when I can score with my feet again. At the moment we play many games in a row,” said Musiala, who was introduce in the 51st minute.

“That’s why it was good that I had a rest and came back with full energy. Finally, I scored again on the pitch (Allianz Arena). It was nice to celebrate with the fans.”

The Bavarians’ next game is against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, followed by a trip to Mainz and a clash with RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.
